1. Who We Are

LeadSignal ("we", "us", "our") is a B2B lead extraction tool operated by Mohamed Abdelhalim, an independent developer based in Cairo, Egypt. The tool is accessible at leadsignal.halim.pro.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Search queries — the category and location you search for, stored temporarily to return results and improve our index.
• Email address — only if you submit a data request or sign up for notifications. Never required to use the tool.
• License key — stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your access level across sessions. Never sent to third parties.
• Basic usage logs — server logs (IP address, timestamps, endpoints accessed) retained for up to 30 days for debugging and abuse prevention.

We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or advertising cookies of any kind.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To return search results and power the lead extraction tool.
• To email you when a requested dataset goes live (only if you submitted a request).
• To diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve the tool.
• To validate license keys and manage access tiers.

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Business Data in the Database

The leads shown in LeadSignal are sourced from publicly available business listing data (Google Maps and similar public directories). This data consists of business contact information — not personal consumer data.

If you are a business owner and wish to have your listing removed from our database, please contact us at the address below and we will process your removal request within 14 days.

5. Cookies & Storage

We use browser localStorage to remember your license key and search preferences. No third-party cookies are set. No advertising trackers are used.

If you clear your browser storage, you will need to re-enter your license key.

6. Data Retention

• Server logs: deleted after 30 days.
• Data request emails: retained until the request is fulfilled or you unsubscribe.
• License purchase records: retained for 5 years for accounting purposes, as required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to any personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your email from our notification list at any time.
• Request removal of any business listing from our database.

8. Third-Party Services

LeadSignal uses the following third-party infrastructure:

• Supabase — database hosting (EU/US servers). Supabase Privacy Policy
• Vercel / Render — application hosting. Standard server log retention applies.
• Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google's CDN. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

Payment processing (when applicable) is handled by Gumroad or Paymob. We do not store payment card details. See their respective privacy policies for how payment data is handled.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of LeadSignal after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
